Conference “Democratic Resistance and Resilience: the challenges and solutions for free media”

On 27 October 2022 the Eastern European Studies Centre in cooperation with other partners and donors including the Baltic Centre for Media Excellence and with the support of the EEA and Norway Grants organised series of events including the conference “Democratic Resistance and Resilience: the challenges and solutions for free media”.

The international conference gathered journalists and experts from the Baltics and beyond working on the topics of Russia, Belarus in the West, as well as journalists working for independent media from Belarus and Russia, to discuss the possibilities in pushback of pro-democratic media against authoritarian threats.
