The report highlights how libraries, in particular, have become essential community hubs for digital support and trustworthy information, helping people navigate disinformation, online scams, and the rapidly changing digital environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania each approach MIL development differently, the report reveals a set of shared challenges across the region: limited resources, staff shortages, fast-paced technological change, and the growing need for practical, sustainable support systems. At the same time, the Baltic countries are developing innovative ways to engage communities \u2014 from gamified learning and mobile installations to using cultural heritage materials to teach critical thinking and source evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report also examines the evolving role of libraries as \u201cdigital lifeboats\u201d in communities where people increasingly rely on support with e-services, digital safety, and identifying trustworthy information online.
